Introduced last season, these powerful designs feature a deep honeycomb texture suggested by the layered structure of a race car’s monocoque that creates bold signature excitement on the dials, sides of the round 46mm matte/polished stainless steel or black ion-plated cases with matching or contrasting sport bezel, and link-look silicone logo straps with Scudetto-shaped button/keeper and classic tongue buckle. Race car-inspired design elements in bright team colors or gunmetal gray – a stylized brake-caliper element on 3-hand models, and a chronograph reflector ring color-blocked and scaled to reference a race car’s dashboard gauge and rev meter – imparted strong, technical character to the textured matte black dials. Now new chronograph designs continue to cater to the market’s appetite for bigger, high-performance watches with sleek ergonomic shapes. Their bold round 46mm cases and integrated link bracelets in black or gunmetal gray ion-plated stainless steel are contrasted by new polished gold-toned and rose gold-toned dial and case elements – bezel and/or Cavallino-etched crown and pusher – reflecting a hot trend in both the fashion and automotive industries, seen in car details such as the customized metal rims on limited edition Ferrari cars. Matching the case in tone, the dark multi-layered dials on these new designs sport the signature RedRev deep honeycomb texture, black or bright new metallic plate and cylindrical subdial rim detail, contrastfilled metallic hands, applied markers and yellow Scudetto, and date display. An angled reflector ring, with printed Arabic numerals positioned as on a dashboard gauge, features a bold rev counter color-block detail. This line is driven by precise 3-hand/date and fully functional chronograph quartz engines.
