The world’s first ultra-slim watch with a wooden bezel. Trae Lille Marine comes with a 32 mm dial and is infused with a wooden top-ring. It’s made from Sapele wood, which is a distant cousin of mahogany. Another interesting thing about Trae Lille Marina is how thin it is — only 4.9 mm. That’s really thin, actually it’s ultra-thin. We didn’t make it just ultra-thin, we used the best stainless steel to make it a sturdy little thing and with the addition of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal we added another layer to protect this one of a kind designer piece.

Our designers Christian Mikkelsen and Lau Liengård Ruge are the most important forces behind the Obaku watches. Christian is internationally recognized for his minimalist and contemporary designs. It’s all in the detail – and the detail is the product. Lau Liengård Ruge has been interested in the creative aspects of life since childhood. Being involved in the design of Obaku watches is a process that makes the designers both exciting and interesting.
