With their impressive 45 mm stainless steel and black ion-plated cases topped by bezels with an F1 font minute index, contrasting rev segment and ridged edge for a bold gripped look, new Speciale Evo designs exhibit performance-driven character. All models feature skeleton hour/minute hands and a thin seconds hand with signature Scudetto counterbalance. Powered by precise quartz engines, the chronographs have multi-level dials with a powder coating-textured center zone, subdial “caps” and a raised outer ring with a fine concentric-circles texture seen on a race car’s dashboard. They are offered on a sculpted link bracelet with deployment clasp, or a leather strap with contrast top-stitching inspired by leather steering wheel covers. The family also includes automatic models on black leather or silicone straps. Their dials are highlighted by a round aperture at 6 o’clock, reminiscent of an engine hood window, through which the intricate balance wheel mechanism may be viewed. This aperture features a small structural brace detail that resembles an engine plate. The design of a separate, larger applied plate at 9 o’clock was inspired by a brake caliper. It is attached to the dial by “bolts”, mimicking the way a plate is bolted to an engine. Water resistant to 50 meters/5 ATM. 2-year limited international warranty.
